Rejuvenation

Rejuvenation is the post treatment with chemical after regeneration of type II catalyst to regain the properties similar to fresh catalyst.

EURECAT is licensed by ALBEMARLE to perform the REACT^TM rejuvenation treatment and the plant has been set up in India to offer this treatment.

EURECAT is also licensed by SHELL to perform the ENCORE rejuvenation treatment.

REACT^TM is applied on STARS^TM catalysts (KF757, KF760, KF767, KF848) to restore the post-regeneration activity back to an ultra-high level.

REACT^TM allows that by re-creating the so-called Type II active sites,which are eliminated during regeneration (the activity of a STARS^TMcatalyst regenerated without REACT^TM is only ~65%). Typically, we can achieve 90-95% activity recovery after REACT^TM (measured on KF757 - without contamination).
